Here are pics from my May 2005 trip to Utah. When I told people I was going to Utah, many just sort of looked at me funny or asked something like "Do you have family there or something?". Those who know me better weren't surprised. If you like the outdoors and the Southwest then Utah is a great place to go - all those German tourists can't be wrong. If you like to take hiking/backpacking vacations you learn this: go south in the spring and north in the fall. So if you're going to go south, the Southwest is the only way to go.
